Classic Bristol pilot cutter. In their day were used to ferry the pilots out to the big cargo ships waiting to get into port, the first one out there got the best price; hence why they went like s--t off a shovel!

River avon

The plastic bag trees were in bloom🙁

Is it a plastic bag or a Heron?... It's both!!

The river Avon is on the whole beautiful and mostly untouched by development but unfortunately the  trees lining the banks have been "adorned" with flotsam and jetsom from the winter floods, some rubbish is nearly ten feet above the water, which gives a good indication of how high the waters rose!
